Why Donate?

HSTV is a no-kill organization dedicated to the welfare of animals.

How is the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley Funded?

All HSTV programs and services are supported solely through private donations. We receive no local, state or federal tax monies. HSTV receives no operating funds from any state or national humane organization such as The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the American Humane Association (AHA) or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)

A gift of:
$35 will worm and vaccinate one puppy or kitten.
$60 will worm, vaccinate, and microchip one puppy or kitten.
$105 will worm, vaccinate, microchip, and spay or neuter one puppy or kitten.
$250 will do all of the above plus provide a week’s food and care for a puppy or kitten.
$500 will provide necessary medical care for a whole litter of puppies or kittens.

Constant Needs of the Humane Society

• Used Baby Scales for foster homes to weigh puppies and kittens
• Purina brand kitten chow
• Purina brand puppy chow (beef or chicken flavor only)
• Purina brand dog and cat chow
• Bath size terry cloth towels (sorry, we cannot use sheets or blankets)
• Batteries (9 volt, AA, AAA)
• Puppy toys and chews (not vinyl or latex)
• Copy paper (8¹/₂ x 11)
